datboilos913 Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 So I started to tub out my trunk seen it done on a video thought I would try it seemed pretty easy so I did it cut out my templates for windows, to show the amp and the speakers than I put the fleece on it than I streched thru the the rubber weather tripping on the car tapped it off and began my fiberglassing let it set up and than I started putting on some chop mat. Put about 3 layers on and than i let it dry once it was dry I pulled it out and renforced the back of it and trimmed it down and started to body work it and cut out the holes for the trunk hinges and got it wraped in vynal to match the rest of the interior but now I went to put it in and it just falls in and I have no way to keep it from falling down into the trunk can anyone tell me what I didnt do orcwhat I should or could do now to fix the problem any help will be great thanks

russtezecustoms Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 You should have built a frame under the amps and other things to hold them up to the level you want them at then stretched the felt. You could put a frame under what you have its just gunna be trial and error. Good luck and next time do a search and check out some build logs on here before you jump into a big project like this one. I just wish i had a funny sig.
