Question on batteries for my set-up

Recommended Posts

Hello SMD world.

First, i need to know which batteries and how many will i need.

My set-up is going to be a Sundown z v.3 on a Rockford t2500 bdCP. I will run it at 4 ohms daily and 1 ohm for the competition coming up. I have a Mechman 240 amp H/O alternator with big 3 done and 1/0 run to the back. My question is what kind of battery power do i need?

The local car audio shop owner tells me i need 3x of the exact same model battery, and if i don't have the same model that the batteries will fight each other. My plan was to do a D1200 up front and a D3100 in back. so forum, what are your thoughts?

Batteries can fight each other?

The spot with least resistance LOL.

I would ground to a rubber dildo if it had less resistance than a run of 4/0 wiring.

how many poeple work there 3 or 4 lol

At crescendo HQ? probably 2-3

At the sweatshop in china? 30,000 children

No Engine

Yeah, he had two different types. And it ended up draining them, once he switched to all the same batts the issue stopped.

I know it sounds weird, and I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it. Haha

Same type* You can have different brands, but you can't mix lead/acid with AGM or anything like that.

I said are you sure it's not different types of batteries? and he said it won't work having two different xs power batteries, they all need to be d1200's or d3100's, i couldn't mix and match, which i didn't believe. thanks for the help.

d3100 and d1200 it is!
