I'm not an excellent marksman by any means, but where I point the AR the bullet goes. The AR kicks alot less. I miss the clack clack sound of racking one into the chamber on the AK though. Lol

Airborne Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 the Russians didn't think of their soldiers as marksman. They designed their battle rifles to be bad ass up to about 250 meters or so.
oif2010 Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 I build ar's as a hobby, just finished a 5.56 and a 7.62x39 last week, recoil is nowhere near as bad as my ak. Good call, UTG has a awesome free float rail for around $120. Nice AR! Welcome to the family!

RidingTooLow Posted August 24, 2013 Author Report Posted August 24, 2013 So I was at a local store today and grabbed a Magpul CTR stock for $79.99. Looked for some flip up battle sights today and no luck, going to have to order them. Also looking to buy an EOtech 512 in the near future also.

VERY compact package and very powerful light and laser without cords and pressure switches and such. Going to get a more compact light laser for my pistol since its a compact anyway.
