newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 i have currently a 95 civic sedan a aq hdc 3 15 and a hifonics brutus 1200 as of right now soon to upgrade my amp but my question is that either way i build my box once its in thats that due to small opening so should i seal off my trunk since back seat folds or just do a normal trunk box an input would be appreciated an i also know there is no straight forward answer just wanting opinions
newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 anyone here done sealed off trunk in a civic or any car
newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 as far as ive found its gonna be only like 60 more to seal off the trunk so im just curious is it worth the 60 bucks

newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 ive never heard a sealed of trunk thats why im asking opinions
Bump4life Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 some cars it works other cars it doesnt. you can test by facing subs inward and opening trunk. if you are louder, than seal it off. if you are not louder. face subs backward. this simulates being sealed Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemead...5015-bump4life/ MB C220 153 Trunk Car Build Log: http://www.stevemead...d/#entry1840136 MB C280 Ipad Dash SQ Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194484-bump4lifes-new-benz-tony-c-relay-kit-pictures-ce-electric-audison-front-stage-installed/ My SPL Log: http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 BMW M340 xDrive Stock, for now. newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 i dont have that luxury since my trunk is so small the box will most likely be put together in trunk an not movable thats why i posted for opinions of people who have done it if you have explain how it worked or didnt if not your help is useless man i understand ever car is different thats why im askin opinions
newschoolsoundz Posted July 17, 2013 Author Report Posted July 17, 2013 im tryin to avoid building a plain ass box then deciding cause i dint research first that i wanna seal it off an waste money again but if its not gonna be noticeable difference i will save my self money in the first place an just do plain box
Bump4life Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 i know of a civic on here that is ported through rear deck but i cant think of any that are sealed off or firing forward. but in your vechicle the only way to find out is testing. how big are you making the box anyway? can you fit a 15 with enough space?
