jview Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Scored a free sheet of birch working with some contractors on base. Was wondering if anyone could design a box for me. I have a dc 2k and plan on running 4 of the new 8s. The area i have to work with is 37W 26D 16'H. The contractors have a woodshop they work out of so im just trying to get a quick design so i can get the box built b4 i go back to the flightline next week.
jview Posted July 31, 2013 Author Report Posted July 31, 2013 I ended up going with the RE calculator got my tuning to 32.8 with a port area of 65.25 the port opening is 4.5 wide. Box volume ended up being right under 5 cubes so with sub displacement i'm hoping i get right around 4 cubes. DC recomended .75 cubes ported.
