best direction to face subs

what's the best direction to face subs with a enclosure that's going under the rear seat?

What sub do you have?

What vehicle is it going in?

If its going under the rear seat, I'd probably suggest facing the port towards you with sub on top provided excursion doesn't reach the the seat...need more info however
