Dd9515 king Posted September 9, 2013 Report Share Posted September 9, 2013 To see an increase in spl useing dual inputs. You must need the extra power the wire supplys. Lets say you have a dc 9k and dd m4a (not comparing companys. Just using them cuz i have seen really clamped numbers from both.) they both put out bout 9200 watts at about 15 volts. The dc has 3 inputs and the dd has 2 inputs. The dc wont need duals because it has more input power then out. Means the wires coming in can move more power then going out. The dd will see better numbers with dual inputs because the amp is pushing the incoming wires to there limits to produce its numbers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
