fecupe2001
i haven´t posted my testing on the SPL gains topic because i really want to do it again, BUT, we got tool maker dual inputs for my buddy that uses 4800 clamped wtts and 4 batts, didn´t gain ANY, then, we tested my explorer using a 2K wired at .5 ohms on a mechman 270A and a single D3100, voltage drop exactly the same, termlab scores exactly the same!!!! gonna test everything again next week because i know i´ll get flamed and want to post as much information as i can, but right now, i think they are a waste of time, money and wires! I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. CJ18
Every time I have added dual inputs I have gained .4-.5db.
pa-pa-platypus
this is exactly the kinda information i keep finding haha its almost a crap shoot... sometimes people gain and sometimes they don't... almost seems to be no reason behind either really lol and 60 bucks for 2 pairs (my amp has dual inputs) isn't gonna break the bank and i can always resell em its just interesting theres no particular reason people gain or don't gain lol This isn't teeball. Swordlordboy1234
I personally had an ear o meter gain but only noticeable by me (because I'm the one who hears it most often) Only concrete change was .3 voltage drop increase. Very install dependent. Sure looks cool though! boostdoctor
I know this is crude way of doing things; but couldn't you trim down a 3/0 or 4/0 to fit in the 1/0 terminals and produce the same results. Infact that would be all copper and reduce any resistance that the aluminum may cause. 87 Caprice twin-turbo 6.0 2 DC 15 xl's Sundown 3k 96 Volvo 850r 3 15's on 9k - no wall 154.3db legal www.youtube.com/boostdoctor www.facebook.com/boostdoctor

Real96SS
From what I have seen it seems that it depends on how big the amp is. I don't think you would need them on a 2500 as much as a 7500 but we would need more people to verify what amps they had when they gained or didn't gain.
