I'm thinking 1,200-2,000 watts max. Looking to stay under 400 dollars. Any suggestions? The_Iceman Posted August 10, 2013 Author Report Posted August 10, 2013 I know the sundown is over my budget for sure new. But I saw a Rockford Fosgate R1200-1d last night. Cost: 235 dollars on amazon. Says it does 1,200 watts rms. And 1,400 max at 1 ohm. People have been saying it does more rms and max, but Idk if that's with clipping or not. Also do you have any idea if RE audio is decent place to look for an amp or are they more subwoofer centered? I've seen good reviews for it, and I know Hifonics used to be amazing and aren't quite what they used to be now.
