MelloYello
First off, I hate it. My 2012 Chevy Cruze pretty much sits at ~12.5v but somehow, when it feels like it, it will sit at 14v+, no matter what combinations of things I turn on, I can't get it to charge where i'd like it to. My question is, is there anyway to provide a false load to the BCM to make it charge at 14v? Like prehaps a resistor somewhere in the alternator wiring? Maybe even completely bypassing the BCM Voltage regulator. It kinda sucks trying to demo my car and the radio shuts because of Voltage drop to below 12.5v, im also concerned about harming the amp/s due to low voltage. I have yet to really crank up my amp as I'm only running one of my 10's on a 4k, but in the next week or two i'm gonna be building a 4th order for 2 of them and crank the amp up. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
