bbeljefe
I have an SA-15 coming my way but I plan to build a t-line for it this weekend and I need to know the surface diameter of the piston. In case someone has one and doesn't know what I mean, I need the measurement from center of surround to center of surround on opposite sides. Thanks in advance for your help! SPLadd1ct
just measured my sa-15 from my personal collection. i used a tape measure to obtain center to center of the surrounds diameter of the cone area. i got 12 & 13/16" which equivocates to 12.8125". so pi ((12.8125/2)^2) = 128.93 square inches the standard units they use for sd is square centimeters i believe. there are 6.4516 square centimeters in a square inch so ((128.93)x(6.4516)) = 831.8 square centimeters. hope this helped bud Quote 2011 Ford Ranger Sport 4.0 v6 2 sundown audio prototype nsv4 15s crossfire 4k wired to 0.4 ohm 15 banks of maxwell 3.0 caps @ 18v triple alts (x2 us alt 250's, x1 singer 320) 153 at 23hz
bbeljefe
Thanks a million man... 12 13/16" is just what I needed to know. I don't speak centimeters but I appreciate the extra effort you put in. :-) Quote Facebook: facebook.com/audioanarchyllc Instagram: audioanarchyllc Youtube: youtube.com/bbeljefe
