Advice on Alpine Amps

Hey so I have two Alpine Type R 15inch 4 ohm DVC subs. I am wanting to go all Alpine because I have done installs for friends and the result was always more than satisfactory. I am considering two options. I want to get either 1 Alpine mrx-m240 and run it at 1500 rms watts at 4 ohms, or two mrx-m110s and run them each at 1100 rms watts at 2 ohms per sub. Im looking for some advice as to which would be the better option for the most bump.

would be easier on the electrical to run the first option m240 .... just saying.. you didn't provide much info/details on your setup (electrical wise)

I have a second battery with the big 3 upgrade, 1/0 gauge AWG wiring ran with a 3 farad capacitor, Im not worried about electrical strain, I just want to get the most out of those subs

my answer stays the same.... I'd assume the m240 is the cheaper solution... even if it isn't... i'd go with the single amp.. also I'd get a new box made to "get more out of your subs"

running one in my opinion would be better. less wires to run. and youd only have to set the gains on one amp. i personally dont understand the amp because its rated lower at 1 ohm then it is at 2 ohm. just something to think about it you plan on changing your system down the line.

Here is my personal opinion. If you are stuck on a all alpine system go with the m240. With the 1 you will not have to gain match and all that crap just set 1 gain and leave it alone. But if it where me I would get a soundqubed 1200 and just run it at 1ohm. Problem with alpine amps 99%of them are only stable at 4 and 2ohms making wiring option less. If you get a amp stable at 1ohm you will have way more options of wiring configurations

That and also $500 for a amp that you will run at 4ohms is a lot to me just get the sq1200 and run it at 1ohm it's way cheaper and you will love the amp great sound and will do what it is rated for

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.
