I am wanting to go all Alpine because I have done installs for friends and the result was always more than satisfactory. I am considering two options. I want to get either 1 Alpine mrx-m240 and run it at 1500 rms watts at 4 ohms, or two mrx-m110s and run them each at 1100 rms watts at 2 ohms per sub. Im looking for some advice as to which would be the better option for the most bump.

Kingcuong5o4 Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 running one in my opinion would be better. less wires to run. and youd only have to set the gains on one amp. i personally dont understand the amp because its rated lower at 1 ohm then it is at 2 ohm. just something to think about it you plan on changing your system down the line.

With the 1 you will not have to gain match and all that crap just set 1 gain and leave it alone. But if it where me I would get a soundqubed 1200 and just run it at 1ohm. Problem with alpine amps 99%of them are only stable at 4 and 2ohms making wiring option less.
