yea thats a lot of power i really need to do that first (upgrade amps and electrical). whats the absolute max amount of power that a btl can take?

My New Build checklist:

(3) 18'' btl fully loaded d2

read this post. It is from the owner of that eclipse on youtube, that is LOUD with two LMS 18's

Hes running 4 sundown 3000's along with a huge box with subs up and port back.

his box is only 9 cubes for 2 18's with 6" aero ports, thats kinda small for 2 18's

LMS Ultra are insane! 5000 watts rms. 4" Voice Coil, Built Very strong and well. Huge Sub indeed, 18" Cone, 2 18"s 6000 watts rms each sub, huge ported box, = loud in my opinion.

these arent spl subs at all, they are 75 and 80 lbs and massive for the insane low end on them. i can say myself that a 18" btl can probably get louder then the ultra on a tone, just my honest opinion

i think the LMS is on TOP just like the BTL. That vid with them in the eclipse more than sold me, then there was the price...

You cannot compare Bentley's to Honda's or even BMWs. If it DOES cost 3xms the money to make these woofers, they will just be much more rare in the comps.

They seem to be one of the MOST IMPRESSIVE daily drivers I have ever seen, more excursion than most if not all woofers I have seen.

Anybody that OWNS the LMS woofers, please chime in

well its not just that one would be a bentley and one a honda, they are designed for totally different sounds anyway, btl is more spl, ultra is more sq, and yes it is one of the most crazy daily driver subs.

and fyi folks i got my ultra 15 alot cheaper then i can get a brand new 15 XXX, you just have to search hard and wait to find one lol

i disagree with 5k being a very conservative rating, have you ran one?

with those metal cones they love to hold heat for a long time.

thats why there is 4" coils for amazing cooling, and fyi ssaudios 2 18's on 6k+ each barely get warm at all, ask him yourself

15" LMS Ultra

AB VFL 200.1 3kw+ rms@ 1 ohm <-- 500.1 in near furture

3.5 cubes at 34 hertz

2 Exide Orbital's

200 Amp EA Alt

125 sq ft BXT
