the amp is a hifonics brx2000 and will be @ 4 ohms for 600-700 rms

can some one help me figure out how to determine the port area per foot for this speaker ? ive heard 9-20 is good but i dont want to fuck it up

is there a way to figure it out using these numbers ? and how much airspace it really needs ?

i have 18''x30''x30'' to work with and i would like a 28 hz tune and im trying to do this with the sub and port facing the side

using the torres box calculator is confusing the hell out of me and ive read its not completely reliable so if anyone wants to help me design this box that would be great

:)

40-45 sqin is enough for a slot port, or you can use 2 4" aeros.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
