TexasRam Posted September 10, 2013 Report Share Posted September 10, 2013 an alarm is definetly a good ideah, its a 1 up on any imposing thief, atleast theres some sort of protection there, the l.e.d and warning chirps from an alarm are great deterents, the ones with 2 way remotes give u the warnings as well , informing u to any possible mischief. installing one correctly can really slow down the thiefs efforts in trying to remove or deactivate it , such as putting the brain in an unlikely spot. Also such add ons like proximity sensors and tilt sensors paired with a 2 way system give u protection well beyond any factory security system. but all in all i recomend an omega brand system. 2010 Ram 1500, Pioneer deh80prs,2-12" RE SXXv2's downfired in vinal wrapped center console box, kenwood 6x9's in the doors on a mtx 4 channel, viper 5901, big 3, kinetik 2000 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have the viper 3303 and its great, when my alarm goes off my remote starts going off letting me know that the alarm got triggered. Also when the warning chirps are triggered so is the remote, 2 different tones from chirp and alarm going off on remote. It will also let you know if the alarm was triggered when you unlock your car by chirping 4 times instead of 2. Add tilt sensor for rims, for sure glass breaker.
