Unkown107 Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 re audio lower end subs any good?
finkster Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 I wouldn't go any lower than the SE series, but they kind of went sub par the past couple of years. EDIT: also, if you run the correct rms and not overpower anything then you shouldn't have any issues. A lot of people blow subs and equipment trying to get more than what they paid for out of it. At the end of the day, match subs and amp RMS and be happy. DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
WillPwn4Food Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Yeah like he said if you send them rms you'll be fine. Don't expect anything outstanding though. You get what you pay for. donovanbigd Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 i`ve been running a 12 inch dual 2 ohm xxx at 4 ohms off a hifonics collossus for 2 years. Puts out 2200 rms. I was told the other week i`m not feeding the woofer enough watts that it can handle much more. Last 2 years at heat wave austin i hit a 141 db`s 3/4 `s up on volume. Just bought a new 2006 us amps ax3000de. Hope it`s enough but won`t know for a couple of months, re doing whole build. I love my re audio xxx, great spl and sql! Best of both worlds.
