Battery?

Im looking to install another battery in my trunk. My question is a normal car battery good enough? (Duralast ect...) or should i get a stinger or kinetik? Im running 750 watts off a stock alt and plan on doing a big three soon. I would like to add another 4 channel amp for my mids and highs. Also what would be the best way of installing the battery? Isolater, Relay, Or just straight wire it from the other battery? Any input would be appreciated

Another normal batt in the trunk would be ok, solong that it is an AGM batt, a lead acid batt hasen´t to be in the trunk.

And it´s better if your front batt a AGM batt as well.

i would do the big 3 first before you add a 2nd battery , you may or may not solve your lights dimming problem. upgrade the wires and go from there then if you need it add a battery. adding a 2nd battery on a stock alt when your lights are dimming currently may not fix it. the wires from your alt are smaller gauge and trying to draw twice the charge for another battery while your system is depleting the resources at the same time could cause problems. ive known people that their lights were dimmng and then they did a big 3 and it fixced the problem for them, but sometimes people need to add a 2nd battery depending on the equipment they have in their cars.

Doln´t forget, the real problem is, that your alt ain´t producing enough juice and you have to hung your batt´s every vew times on the charger.

Idk if it makes a difference my alt in my car right now is 120 amp roughly and the battery has 1200 CCA im new to battery and wiring. I have installed alot of systems but never had to deal with anything larger then 600 watts from me and my friends. Would 4 gauge wire work for big three? If not i will go full out 0 gauge. I think my alt might be going bad cuz when i start playing my system it hits hard about 15 min in it softens alot and if i turn my volume done for 5 or so min and turn it back up it hits even harder. So my question is i guess what could be causing this? The alt not keeping up or battery or both?

Do it in 0 gauge, that´s a 1 in big3, to have the big wire where the current can flow.
