gibblegeibel Posted September 20, 2013 Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 i have a single 12 sub in my car. it is a cerwin Vega stroker 122 in a ported box tuned to 32 hz. ilike the bass it produces and how it hits the lower notes. but i was wondering if i could get the same performance out a of a couple of 8's or a couple of 10's. i was looking for at the skar brand subs. so what do you guys think? Lower tuned and a little bigger will help with lows. Also the sub/anp affects it a bit as well, what skars were you thinking of running? The_Iceman Posted September 20, 2013 Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 I just saw your amp post. If your not going to upgrade amps I would get the: VVxv2. 2 of those 10s would be good. If you are looking to get the lower sound, you can do it with 8s but a 10 would sound better. Also get your amp right and that will help.
