eugenePHT Posted February 29, 2008 Report Share Posted February 29, 2008 Hi guys I am new to this and the set up I am doing is 1979 Monte Carlo I am going for BIGGEST in trunk system!!!!! I got pioneer unit with JL 300/4 for mids and highs and I got 2x1501D MTX amp's going to 2x18 BTL's fully loaded got 10 cubes of box space before ports and displacement of speakers so YES its really tight got 4x8.5x17 port on each side fireing into the cab through the rear deck sub's fire up into the trunk lid and its 2 inches away on top and like 4 inches on the buttom angaled. NOW the problem is this 3 amps totall 1 JL and 2 MTX if I only run JL to the stereo plug in my RCA's no noise as soon I plug any of the 2 MTX amp's into the mix and the car is on very lound engine noise and the vine if I gass it NOW i can work with my JL and almost loose the noise but will loose a lot of volume oh and I am running 2 battary's one stock and one optima yellow top plus I got a cap right next to the amp's my ground is going all the way to the battary i try different ground still same thing also try different RCA's same tryed different ground for unit no luck PLEASE HELLLLLLLP!!!!!!!
