MACnonsence6 Posted September 30, 2013 Report Posted September 30, 2013 id really like to build my own pair of 12s perhaps have someone help me pick the parts to use but i would like to essemble it my self to be able to say ya i made that. i found these on cac http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/12-subwoofers/158645-big-gap-shocker-sigs-ti-baskets.html and was like YES! really wana do something similar but on a larger scale. i understand theres more to this then just putting random parts together. but this is what id like to do. i would like to make an lms ultra 12 if this has already been done kool beans but id like to assembly a more beast then stock version my self. gotta find me 2 lms ultra motors fitted to tc 12 baskets with the biggest 4" 8 layer coil that will work well for my build prolly gonna have to talk with psi for some help on this. goal is a pair of 12s that can handle 12k daily on music. thoughts,opinions and advice I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
