Reed Farrar
Whats up guys i have recently sold my e10s and e8v3 Sundown subs plus my hifonics BRZ 1200.1 amp so i could pre-order the new ct sounds 2500.1. This is going to be a long long build for me. definitely the longest build i have ever done since alot of time is needed and alot of money is going to have to be put into this. So ill start off with my electrical. I just got my new mechman 320 alternator for my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero 2.4L running to my XS power D3400. i plan on running 3 runs of execution audio 0 gauge. 2 for my CT sounds 2500.1 and the other to my soon to be CT sounds 125.4. this might sound stupid but if i do 3 runs from my alternator to my battery would i need to do multiple grounds also? thanks in advance. So i did alot of research on subs and i decided to get two Sundown X series 12s. thanks to a guy that posted on one of my threads. he messaged me and helped me design a box for these sexy subs. the box is going to be about 4.8 cubes tuned to 32 hz. Im taking my back seats out so i can make amp racks in the back and have room to mount speakers in the back seats or wherever i find a place. i currently have 4 8 inch crescendo PWXs and i plan on adding a set of the 5.25 component set for the front doors and adding another set in the back either a 5.25 or 6.5 set. also im getting all new RCAs and other small stuff for this project so i can finally be done for a little while and not have to go back to change up little things that are now big since taking a build apart isnt very fun lol. suggestion on RCAs? i was planning on two pairs of RF RFIT. well thanks for looking at my build more to come soon. quick6gn
Brother got his 125.4 yesterday. Cant wait till i save up the money for mine. just finished an install with the same stuff for a customer/relative this week. 125.4 on 3 sets of focal components and a CT 2500.1 on 3 sa 12's. The CT line is beast but be careful it's reeeeaaly power hungry. 4 xs power batts and a 160 amp alt (getting changed to a Singer 300 amp) and it will still clip at higher volumes. Remember kids clipping lets out the magic smoke and thats never good. Coleman makes one hell of a product and the 2500.1 is closer to 3800 watts @ 1ohm should be beast on 2 x 12's good luck with the build man cant wait to see it finished,
