Jacob Posted October 17, 2013 Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 Hey Guys, I know what you're thinking once you've seen the thread title; "well obviously they haven't designed one for your car yet" etc Just have a read anyway and leave a suggestion if you can think of anything Alright so, I own a 2012/13 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 2.4L NON-Sports Edition which is the exact same colour and look as the image below Trouble is, I am having trouble finding alternators for it, or any other model of Outlander for that matter. There is currently no audio system in it yet however I have all the gear ready to go which consists of the following (2) Sundown Audio 12" ZV4s (first two to enter Australia ) (1) Crescendo Audio BC3500D (shortly swapping out to a 5500D) (2) Fullriver HC110 Batteries for the Rear LINK (1) Fullriver HC55 up the front. All of this will be ran over a standard electrical system (12v/14.4v) and I'm going to require a bigger alternator if I wish to keep the tunes going without turning it down to charge everything back up as often. The stock alternator is a 110amp and I'm not too sure if it's actually changable (I've read some cars you need to do extra stuff etc?). What I've done so far So far I have sent an email to a few US H.O Alt companies to see what they say, I've been emailing Mike @ SingerAlts who hasn't come to a conclusion, I've sent a quote message off to Mechman, I've messaged Iraggi but they never responded and I have also checked out places such as DCPower and a couple of others I've heard of while stalking forums.
