Bump4life Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2013 i got the viper 350 plus! it has the ability to add remote start if i ever want to really get my hands dirty with mercedes security systems. but adding the alarm and keyless entry was a breeze!! works amazing!! i got the dome lights to come on when i unlock and all that!! and flash the parking lights when it is armed and or the alarm goes off!!! luckily both remotes came pre programmed!! amazon for 55 dollars shipped overnight!!! thanks for help guys!! So to answer your question the alarms are built with the same parts and might look the same, but I wouldn't go as far to say they are all exactly the same. As far as reliability and security go you will be safe with either brand you choose.
