Marshey Posted September 8, 2014 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 I went to Trax yesterday and being a French car it always breaks down on the way to shows so on way there got very bad wheel wobble stopped twice to check everything seems done up tight. Took wheel off once there and noticed one of the studs on my adapters had snapped off. The car also has a leaky exhaust manifold which causes my turbo not to boost properly and also leaks the fumes into the car so i have to drive with windows open. The problems didnt stop when it came to the audio side either. On the drive there i noticed my voltage was all over the place the external reg is set at 14.7v cold and when hot it drops to 14.4v but driving there it was sitting on 13.2v idle going up to 13.7v driving thats with music on minimum volume and if i turned headunit and amps off it went upto 14v. Still got the car tested anyway and even revving and holding at 2k rpm the car stalled on every tone even saw 9v at times and my dash started flickering and displaying different letters and funny symbols. My average score was down by 0.2db on my previous scores which also was done with poor voltage. I think the problem has to be down to earths so will to have to go through them all checking connections and adding more if i can.
