And now there seems to be a problem. Some reason while it was warming up the cab filled with smoke. Seems to be coming from the back of the engine, and it smells like something is burning. It's to the point it was suggested getting a all new wiring harness. The part wont be that expensive, specially cause I wont have to pay for it myself, but I would have to do the install myself. One as I've pointed out in another thread I'm having problems with my license. Another reason it's sitting is cause there was smoke coming from the vents and my mom's bf said it smelled like electrical smoke. He was using the truck for work when this happened. I've checked out the truck and didn't find any burnt wires, loose grounds or anything. Didn't pull the dash, but was able to see under it pretty good. Even checked under the hood cause there was some smoke coming from under the hood. Dude thought the truck was on fire from the amount of smoke. Luckily it wasn't. Not sure what it is yet, but with the truck sitting I guess I could dig in a little deeper now. They got a new truck today, well new to them. 1989 F-150 reg. cab 4x4, 5.0l V8, auto. Looks a bit rough, mine looks mint compared lol. Has around 204k where as mine has around 106k miles. Honestly I think I'd rather fix my truck and sell it, use the money to get back to a big city where I can find work.
