99_Xploder Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 just wondering what you guys would do. the W7 will be in a console in the front of a 1994 dakota, both sub and port will be firing down.... do you think a 3" round port would be enough for the 8"W7 or not...it will make the build much easier, but if its not worth it, i will gladly do the extra work for a slot.... (if i do the slot i will probably use an 8x2 slot port. also, with it being an 8", would SQ suffer greatly from tuning to 40 hz as opposed to the recommended 35? im trying to get a little extra output here, just wondering what everyone else would do.
