SoundFreakk
So lets get straight to the problem. I got a AA carbon mid with a shifted magnet I already got everything of I could think of. At this moment I'm stuck here But I can't find a way to seperate it from the magnetic field so I can center it. Believe it is the bottom plate that is shifted I'm a complete noob at this so I got some help from Purplehaze and he showed me some pics that the top plate and bottom plate should be able to separate allowing me to center the pole and get it back together. (if I understand it correctly lol) So I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get this done on this particular mid. CortezDTV
Did you destroy the spider and soft parts doing that? I was able to take an index card side it in and reglue the the pole while the soft parts were still in it Just take big pliars with a rag and pull them apart then get plastic shims to re glue SCSB Santa Cruz Speaker Box Build logs: Daily Driver Lemon Marquis 2 american bass 750.1s 350.4 on 14 focal 6.5s sq 945 on 4 hertz tweeters Mystery subs http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 The Mustang 'dubbed' Shirley the project from bullet holes to badass http://www.stevemead...cond-skin-time/
SoundFreakk
No everything is still intact appart from a few screws lol. So you are saying I should be able to pull the pole out and then use shims the keep it centered and glue it? SoundFreakk
are you sure it was the whole pole then and not just the phase plug? because I tried to pull it out too with the soft parts still in place and I wasn't able to get it out.
