arcaudioman Posted December 5, 2013 Report Share Posted December 5, 2013 Hey guys I'm getting pretty deep into my system and on my 03 accord the ac control is in the hu, so I just kept it stock looking and plugged my phone directly into eq, now the factory radio is just a clock lol any cons in doing so? Does it have RCA output or will some type if integration device be needed. That may pose some quality issues. In addition even if it dies have RCA output how good is the quality. At this point the main issue your facing is integration to the rest of your equipment. Depending on what route you go quality may suffer Rolex you sicken me. arcaudioman Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 5, 2013 No, I don't seem use the factory hu just plug my phone into the eq via headphone jack to rca adapter, then that goes to eq then goes to the amps. .. any distortion issues I should be concerned with? Otherwise, no there is nothing negative about going this at all. Just set gains properly including the phone and using a dd1 will answer those questions. As a matter of fact I ran my system that way for some time. iPhone straight into an EPX2 Rolex you sicken me.
