Sounds like you have a sub wired out of phase. Wire one sub normally and the other one backward and see what happens.

And yes, that's a two channel amplifier. And no, it will never do anywhere near it's rated power.

I know it wont do anything close. I bought it all used for like $125 for the subs amp and a nice box so I wasn't gonna complain! Ill try the one sub backwards soon!

Yes, because one cone moves in while the other moves out. Hence, out of phase. And the result is acoustical cancellation that makes them quiet.

No. If they're both out of phase with the front speakers, it could make a very minor difference but in reality, that minor difference could be for the better.
