So you want a box for 2 now and then we'll upgrade later to 4? Are you wanting something now that would be the same width and height as a box down the road for the 4 subs? Port size week change(double basically) for the 4 18s design, but you have plenty of room for 2 or 4. What kind of height are you comfortably wanting as of now? 20-24" maybe?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Box is tuned at ~33 Hz and 11 cubes. Please excuse the lack of double baffle in the actual sketch. I forgot it but the calculations are correct and baffle is accounted for.

Port is 5.75" and 28" wide. The cuts for those would be 21.75X6.5" for the vertical walls of the port and the long piece that makes the top of the port is 21.75X28".

Its got Double baffle so that will help. You can add all-thread or wooden dowels if you'd like. I can't remember(not in front of my PC) if I added bracing in my calculations. I usually do reserve a little airspace for bracing in my calculations, though it won't change tuning or displacement hardly at all. If you want to do a vertical brace, it will go through the port with either threaded rod or dowels. It's up to you as far as bracing and what you're comfortable with.
