So i wrecked my subs and need a replacement.

My old setup was an Audio Technix 1200.1 at 0.5 Ohms to 2 Power Accoustik 122x

I cant decide on a sub and want something nice yet affordable. atm i am looking at

a pair of Sound qubed HDS212 D4 wired to 1ohm 1200rms 170$

or

a pair of Sound Qubed HDS312 D2 wired to 0.5Ohm 2400rms 278$

thoughts ideas suggestions?

i also looked at DC level 3, sundown, rockford p3d4, C2 t2, Fi x12. and they were all considerably more expensive

I have not yet installed my volt meter in my cab but at idle i don't usually see less than 12.8 ish (but i temporarily have a huge type 27 or 31 in my trunk till my shrunken arrives)

also i notice that the HDS3 are the only SQ sub without a recone

good. i think they have the cheapest price to performance ratio on the market (so far). thats my opinion though, because im an AQ nuthugger.

those subs have been intriguing me.. i would imagine they're a decent sub.. i had the street duty 2.5's (which they have since discontinued sadly) and ran over double rms to them without issue.. im hoping these hds series have the same ability to take a beating

disclaimer: i do not condone nor recommend double rms to a sub without parental advisory :D

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

151.6 with single 12 at 41 hz

153.2 with 2 12's at 43 hz

well the hds200's will be a little over powered and the hds300 will be under powered but not by to much
