EP95 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Your amp is going into protect. How have you got the speakers wired up, might be to low of a load for the amp to handle. The amp itself is also a problem ssl doesn't do nearly what its rated at. What kind of headunit do you have.
tacomabanga1986 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 if it was me ied sell that amp and get a good 4channel, but if you have to use that i would wire them in series/parallel like this do you know what series and parallel means? if not you need to do this with each side of your amp, should give you 6ohm stereo, amp will run at this so no problem wire the 6x9 like the bottom speaker, and the 6&1/2's like the top 2 and you should be good and your amp will run cooler, and would be easier on your speakers, hope this helps just do this on each channel of your amp and you should be good, still would switch to a 4 channel tho . this is about the only way i know how to show you to wire what you have atm, hope this helps, if you have any questions about the pic just ask here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
