2006 Corolla (Da C) Loud and & clean system install from day 1 to now ( BEYMA,ORION HCCA, SELENIUM & more). New floor carpet and Fatmat entire floor

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Ive had my 2006 toyota corolla or what i call her "Da C" since 2010 now and it is my first car. So all mods that I have done to the car and still in progress have been done little by little since going to college and hooking up your car can be very costly. At first I never really had any interest in car audio at all but when I met a close friend in college all of that changed. I started getting more and more interested in car audio once I started messing with radios and changing speakers and installing amps and etc. One thing lead to another and I decided I wanted to hook up my car from exterior to interior. I first started off with a just replacing my head unit with a sound-stream flip out radio and left my door and rear speakers stock, which at that time i thought the car sounded real nice but in all reality sounded like shit. Went through a couple of door speakers but after i got my doors fiberglassed my final door speakers will stay Beyma. My first ever sub was a 12 inch l7 solobaric which lasted only 6 months and after a short period of time I started to smell the coil burning so I got rid of that and didn't have bass for a year and half and recently just got a 12 inch Alphasonik with kicker amp for a steal price. I also decided to do everything blue in my car which I later on regretted doing and took all the blue off. Also bass heads im sorry that i dont piks of my old subs or door speakers or even old installs on my car. Never really thought I would become a basshead and transform my car to where it is now. But I do vow to always update everything that I do to Da c from now on.

Same week I got the car I got some 17" inch chrome rims and threw them on (my first set of rims ever bought)

After selling the alpine I got a 2013 alpine cde hd149bt and changed the radio housing so the clarion EQ is on top and radio on bottom.

I bought this crunch amp awhile back and still have it till today for vocals just temporary until I got my amp rack and 3 hifonics Zeus amps for vocals in a few months. The farad in the Picture was sold a while back too

After doing some research and deciding on what rims I want to get after the system and paint job are done I went with 18inch kyowa grey mesh wheels 5x100 3 inch rear lip and 2 inch front lip. Grabbed the last pair before they were discontinued. Haven't thrown them on yet or got the tires for them but I'm going to get them power coated white

The blue and black seat coveres I had on my car started ripping and tearing after a year or so, so I decided to get some custom made and install them with my boy. I got black leather with Toyota logo blue

A friend of mine told me about Knuknoceptz and how they have excellent wiring, 0 guage, RCA and all the wires you would need for your car. I saw the wires he had and they looked really good and durable so I decided that since I'm going out all out on my car might as we'll go all out with everything top notch high quality. So all my wiring for my system is from knuknoceptz. I first ordered Kord ultra flex 12 gauge speaker wire 150ft but wasn't enough so ordered 25 more feet. The 12 guage wiring was for all 4 doors so 175ft went to all 4 doors!! After that I ordered Knuknocpetz tinned 10 gauge speaker wire 25 ft for the 15 inch orion hcca and the box also. The 12 guage wire was a bitch to run because I ran the wire through each grommet of every door and trying to run 3 wires in a small grommet is a pain. But with enough Wd-40 all wires were run on all doors. Sorry guys forgot to take piks of the install when running the wires but when I change the carpet I'll be sure to take some piks and update . Here's a list of wiring I got from knuknocpetz

Kord ultra flex 12 gauge speaker wire 150 ft + 25 ft

Kord ultra flex 1/0 ground wire 70ft

Knuknocpetz tinned 10 gauge speaker wire 25 ft

Krystal kable 2 channel RCA

X2 20ft

1 3ft RCA

My headliner had stains on it that I didn't even know where they came from and the color of the headliner was a light grey color, so since I'm doing the whole interior black me and my Friend decided to wrap the headliner with black leather. Took roughly 3 hours to wrap and a 1 or so to dry came out real good

I was looking for a sub that hits real hard bass and will keep up with my 16 door speakers. I always had my eye out on the 15 inch Orion HCCA and was looking for awhile to get one but since there going for $500 and up I couldn't get one at the time. Not until I found one for sale on craiglist from a seller in CT he was selling it for a steal price so I jumped on it right away and got it. The sub was brand spanking new not even played yet.

Now being that I work and go to school and go to the gym, I barely find time to work on my car, so now that I got the sub that I want I need a box now for it. I don't have the time to be making a box for it so I looked up a couple of boxes even contacted some shops to make one for me. In the end the shops wanted more than what the sub cost brand new to make a box so that idea was a no go. Than one day I came upon FATBOX USA and asked a couple of friends about it too one of my boys who had a Fatbox told me there hardcore sub boxes and you can't go wrong with them and worth the money. Now the one I needed for my sub on there website was $400 shipped, I was still iffy about that it wasn't the money issue it was if I wanted to go with fatbox and after thinking about it and deciding I went with fatbox usa. But here's the catch I found a guy selling a 15 inch orion with a fatbox USA for only $550. Jumped on that deal real quick grabbed the sub and box, sold the sub and really only paid $150 for the fatbox ;) I was going to drop the orion in the trunk when i got the fatbox but when i tryed to put it in the trunk it didnt fit, so when i get the air ride suspension done im going to get the bottom opening of the trunk near the latch cut and screwed on so that way i can slide the box in and if i want to take it out i can always unscrew it off and it take it out. I will update this post once i start with the air ride suspension.

The guy who sold me the fatbox thought it was cool to take out the ring terminals that came with the box and put some shitty ones on the box, but i contacted fatbox us and spoke with steve and he was very polite and generous enough to send free terminals to me free of charge!

I still had a lot of fatmat left over from the roof when I did it so I decided to gut out the trunk and also do the trunk lid and fatmat the entire trunk plus the trunk lid .I used a hairdryer instead of a heat gun because I couldn't find mine. Also used rubbing alcohol to wipe down the area first than apply the fatmat
