Its the ONLY one I can find on the internet of the correct generation MTX Blue Thunder subs I have . I was just wanting to know the specs on these because I have a pair I got off of my nephew maybe 4 years ago and im pushing them in a slot ported box, 1 cube per sub, with 1000 true bridged Fosgate watts, and I beat the crap out of them daily. Not only that, I have the gain and 18db bass boost up WAY to much. Heck I even have the bass on the Pioneer HU and loud button on way to high...why you might ask.. Well I have been looking for a good excuse to get some new 10's but these things seem to be indestructible..They are not distorting, I don't "think" they are clipping...they knock my rear view mirror off my windshield daily, and this is in a Grand Caravan. Lots of room in that van for just 2 10's...I know these things are not xxx's or BTL's or anything, but im pretty impressed with how tough they are..they got to be like 100 years old by now.. so does anyone know what kind of power I am actually supposed to be running to them or have any specs on them?..Thats all.. im done now..

Forevrbumpn Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 I MUST say, thats very respectable for them subs the first gen Blue thunders are what, 14years old? 94-95 was the first year, and if they are hanging with 1000 watts, wow man, more power to ya I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
