Here is a rundown of what im going to be doing. Sundown audio sa-15d2 T-line with amprack firing upwards Hifonics zrx 1000.4 mids/highs amp Hifonics zrx 1200.1d sub amp Precision power ppi a2.65c components in front and rear doors Kenwood kdc-bt555u head unit NVX xeq7 7 band equalizer 180 amp alternator 2 optima group 34 yellow top batts SHCA 0 gauge power grounds and runs SHCA 0gauge to distribution block to 4gauge to amps All amp gains will be set with the SMD DD-1 Well thats a rundown of my system to be, ive recently ordered my headunit and my axxess ascw to keep my steering wheel controls, will post pics as the build comenses and whwn more parts come in!

Might be building the tline box next week and ill post pics. Mainly this was rndown of the system to be to see what you guys think and maybe some opinions of certain equipment. meangreenwj Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 Well I went to Minot today and went to my local hardware store and picked up 2 sheets of 3/4" mdf and going to pick another up tomorow and I also hit sears and for $32.06 after tax I got 4 new crafstman carbide tip roundover bits for my router. A 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and a 1/2", also going to pick up a 1" flush trim bit to even out any slight overlap on the box's edges.

meangreenwj Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Back to sears today and got a craftsman circular saw, 2 36" f-clamps, a speed square, and a 40" ruler/level. I must say todays score was verynice that circular saw cost me$40 and it has a depth adjustment and can go all the way to a 50 degree bevel wich will come in handy when I do the 45's inside the corners of the port line. Also came with a carbide tip 7 1/4" cutting blade. If everything goes according to plan the box build will commence in about 2 weeks when my next paycheck comes in to buy things like wood glue, silicone sealant, paint for the port, and probably some truck bed coating forthe outside. This is turning out to be a very expensive box haha. Quick question! Does anyone know if I should use screws or brad nails for the constructionof the box? Will my carbide roundover bit go through screws? If I use brad nails do I have to also clamp the box until the glue sets? Any input on this subject would be great thanks guys! More to come soon.
