Jessica
Why make two threads about it? List the equipment you have including power wire for the amp (what size) and other electrical upgrades if any. That will help some. Ahmed Johnson
If it only happens in the cold you need to let your subs warm up and loosen up. Stop going full tilt until they get warmed up.

Jessica
I'd say check your ground, make sure it is on bare metal, preferably to the frame if you can. Check all connections are tight, do that twice. Do you have a way to check the voltage at the amp accurately? Might be a voltage issue, if you can have someone watch the amp to see if it is going into protect or if the power light is going out. Thats a good start. Gregorio253
i have dmm but i checked my grounds already twice and there tight and to bare frame it only does it after start up if not waiting 5 to 10 minutes
afrakes
Then wait 5-10 minutes. Sounds like a small sacrifice as compared to blowing a pair of 10s or an amp. Martin Clayton
sounds to me like your battery can not cope at first until it gets alittle charge from the alternator, maybe invest in higher amp/h battery? "Sub-bass sounds are those approximately below 60 Hz and extending downward to include the lowest frequency humans can hear, typically 20 Hz. In this range, human hearing is not very sensitive, so sounds in this range tend to be felt more than heard"
