Esenbek Aliev Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 Hey guys, hello from Kyrgyzstan I just bought RF 500X1D to replace my old and huge 500.1 amp I was using high level converter to get RCA cables from it but new amp has high level input (little 4 pin connector which I need to buy from Ebay) does it mean, that I can get rid of converter and rca cables and just plug it in and amp will do all the other stuff? So I'll get simple and clean install without all wires since my car is brand new and don't want to replace my HU.

Honestly, I didn't get my package yet, trying to buy everything before install, si I don't know if it comes with it or no,... Speaker connector that you mentioned, is that the one wich connects amp to speaker or it should be different out?

Speaker connector that you mentioned, is that the one wich connects amp to speaker or it should be different out? the four pin plug is the high level input. its used if you dont have an aftermarket headunit since stock headunits dont have rca outputs for signal. take four speaker wires and attach one on each + and - on each of the two rear speakers or whatever speaker is closest to the amp. then connect those four wires you added, to the four wires that are attached to the plug that goes into the amp. matching polarity (+ and -) on the left and right channels for that 4 wire plug.
