My amp is a Planet Audio AC3000.1D("2100x1 RMS@1ohm") and my subs are 2 Boss Audio CW107DVC("1100 RMS") dual 4 ohm. I know that the RMS is a lie . I ran a Rockford T1500-1bdCP on 2 SA8v1.5s. The RF was rated at like 19xx on its birth sheet. The setup played just fine for over a year. No blown subs, or anything. A different person couldve blown the subs quickly on 1/2 the power I was running. Usually, with "noobs" (hey, you admitted it), I don't recommend overpowering. Especially at the magnitude you're thinking about.
