Amp is grounded to seat screw but i think it aint getting good ground i ask some couple guys here audioshops and all say ground shouldnt matter,of amp getting hot? Idk thats why i need opinions of experts plz

So the guys at your local audio shop told you an improper ground wont cause you these problems. First dont go back to that audio shop. Second put it on a good ground to chassis or frame. Third make sure your gain is set properly, either by a dd-1 or an oscope.

The amp definitely does NOT work awesome as you said, since it is getting hot and making a melted plastic smell. Telling the position of the gain knob does not give any insight into whether you are sending a clipped signal and running the amp dangerously or not. It sounds to me like the grounding location is bad, which can ABSOLUTELY cause an amp to run hot. Bad ground=resistance >>> Resistance=Heat >>> Heat leads to fire or fried amp. Get that ground fixed.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
