jhmeg2
Hey Foreverbumpin!!! How do you think one of the Tymphany LAT 250 would do in a T-line? with prolly 300 watts to it? ////Alpine, Eclipse, Load Boss, Pheonix Gold, MB Quart,Digital Desings, Memphis, Stinger, Periphial, MTX, Visualogic
Forevrbumpn
hahaha... I dont know man, good question. If I had one, i would try. I wonder how the cone area works on that thing? I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
jhmeg2
I would think either use the radius of the unit in general, or the total of all transducers but it has an Resonance Frequency fs 64 Hz Mechanical Q factor Qms 3.5 Electrical Q factor Qes 1.2 Total Q factor Qts 0.89 I would tune it to 40 Hz though... i think I'm gonna get on and do it for my trailblazer. I was gonna do a JL 6w3v3 in a t- line, this thing is supose to have the output of an 8" in a seald box, so it should work pretty good. I hope, They are only like $30, and I live 2 hours from Madisound. I stopped in there yesterday to get some info. ////Alpine, Eclipse, Load Boss, Pheonix Gold, MB Quart,Digital Desings, Memphis, Stinger, Periphial, MTX, Visualogic

jhmeg2
I ordered two of the LAT250s. Im gonna try one in a T-L and see how it does at about 40Hz. If not then I have two to use as midbass in the doors or kicks. ////Alpine, Eclipse, Load Boss, Pheonix Gold, MB Quart,Digital Desings, Memphis, Stinger, Periphial, MTX, Visualogic

Normally with standard ported boxes you give the sub a fixed amount of space plus the port length is that the same with these enclosures?
