From 3 To 4... Temp. Set Up?

Recommended Posts

ookay so i have the 3 polk mm124s all set up and bangin away powered by the audiopipe 1500.1 ... but i got this extra amp (alpine mrd 300 class d mono block) and an extra polk mm124 just chillin in my basement along with the custom enclosure made by polk (the clear glassed one) soooooo.....

i was thinking about putting that bad boy in the enclosure and hookin that amp up to it so i would now have 4 subs bangin away... physically i can do it.. the box fits and everything with no problem... and i have the amp set hooked up (cuz its digital and has the temperature on it and the amperage being put out and all that good stuff) but turned off... but since i have a stock electrical system (stock alt. stock batt. no big 3, im just too damn lazy and now im overloaded with work and school) is this a bad idea??

i was thinking of just having that single playing all day whenever i turn it up to give me a nice daily driver bang... and then when i stomp on the bass nob the other 3 bitches will power up and make some insane noise.

but this would only be temp.. until the summer when me and my buddy are going to make a custom box for the 4 of them. should i just wait and build the box or will this temporary set up be okay?
