Chris Martin Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 So i'm looking for a 600w actual RMS monoblock, that is 1ohm stable, OR a 2channel 2ohm 300w RMS per cannel, OR a 4 channel 2ohm 150 rms per channel.. I'm looking for a decent brand that doesn't bulls**t their ratings and it has to b less than $200 which is the catch.. I would like the crescendo symphony 600.1 but not sure if they are 1ohm stable, also saw the Pioneer GM-D8601, but not sure if I trust their ratings.. Any suggestions?
truthsayer Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 The pioneer puts out the power, clean and 1ohm stable, stays cool. Great bang for the dollar. Edit; the 8604 is 150rms at 2ohm and is also 1ohm stable. truthsayer

Chris Martin Posted March 2, 2014 Author Report Posted March 2, 2014 Thanks heaps for the replys guys, I should have mentioned I'm planning on running midwoofers, 2ways and tweeters off them so I need full range of frequency as well, the pioneer lists the frequency response as 10-240 hz, is this likely? I doubt it runs at 10hz? Would it cut out at 240hz? The audioque, looks like it may work, I'm a bit too scatterbrained to do calculations right now.. I've not heard of audioque before, does anyone else have an opinion on them (no offence, just fishing for info) I also figure out if I run 8ohm midwoofers instead of 4 ohm, I won't need to run a 1ohm stable amp, 2ohm stable should run fine. --didn't see the SoundQubed, thanks heaps guys its food for thought One last noob question, if I had a 2channel amp can I run different loads off each channel? i.e 2ohm off one and 4ohm off the other?
