14Fusion Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Hey guys, Ive finally decided how I want to enter into good quality audio. My old car had some crappy subs, but Im talking new audio integrated into my OEM system to keep all my sync capabilities. I have a dilemma however, I have enough saved up to do half at the moment and really cannot stand my factory sound anymore, its complete crud. Looking for recommendations if I should to the woofer first or the front stage first, both cost about the same, but which will make the most difference right away? Thanks for any help.
razuuk004 Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 A good sound quality system always starts with the head unit but since you want to integrate into your oem, id say start with your mids and highs, then your subs and then invest into a signal processor to make sure all your frequencies are going to their proper place. Now if you are a basshead at heart, then you start with the subs ofcourse. acidikbass20 Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 definitely front stage first, speaking from doing both. Bass is awesome (SPL for life) but a keeping front stage is the foundation. Same idea with the signal processing, that would help. Stuff is goin down, upcoming build
14Fusion Posted March 4, 2014 Author Report Posted March 4, 2014 Thanks guys, was thinking of going with the front stage first, just wasnt sure if I was he only one. Hoping to go somewhere between SQ and SPL, not gonna be hitting 150db, but looking to piss of some people and turn some heads.
