tcilluffo2
I am looking for an amplifier for my pair of 2 Fi Q 15's. They are dual voice coil at 2 ohms each. I was looking at a Rockford T2500 but thought I would ask what people thought of that before I dropped 1k on a amp. Also I need a capacitor that can stand up to the power. Any ideas? I haven't done much looking into them yet so I'm not every knowledgeable. 10 farad 5 farad?
wccfan12
First off never use a capacitor for car audio without having extra batteries in which case you wouldn't need a cap anyways. Have you done the big three upgrade and upgraded your under the hood batt to an agm batt?? I would do that first before you purchase a amp big enough to run those FI Q's. Those bad boys are 1500 rms stock if I"m not mistaken so I would look into an amp that's at least 3500-4500 rms. Sundown SAz 3500, crescendo 3500, Dc audio 3.5k are all good amps. I've heard good things about the CT sounds 4k amp as well. I would look into electrical before you do anything though.
