Need Amp Recommendation For 2 12" Subs

If you are running all stock just get the 1200 no the amp does not "work harder" it just does what it is told to do. If you run the 2200 on stock electrical say good buy to something because low voltage will kill it.

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

I just don't want the amp to be running at full tilt so I can avoid the audio from clipping. But I decided I'm going to go with one 12 for now until I can afford it :)

I just don't want the amp to be running at full tilt so I can avoid the audio from clipping. But I decided I'm going to go with one 12 for now until I can afford it :)

If you set the gain properly it won't clip! Just don't crank the gain all the way up or something. Set it right.
