Bass520 Posted April 2, 2014 Report Share Posted April 2, 2014 Maxxsonics took over the hifonics brand in 2001. 2005 to 2009 they had the 5k to 10k amps made in Korea. Reason why they got away from them is because theirs is really no profit on amps that big and that's not your daily amp. When amps go under warranty the company is Lucky to break even or its money lost. All these big amp company's that only been out for a couple years will see in the long run big amps are not worth it!
