beaker Posted April 7, 2014 Report Share Posted April 7, 2014 I have a 60$ Boston 15 I bought from audiosavings.com, and a plate amp from parts express doing 250 watts at 8 ohm. Box is 14.5 cuft tuned to 20hz. The house is 4500 sq ft, and it shakes the gutters on the outside of the house. Its in the basement. You dont need huge power, or big money to get it to sound good.
