nepjr32 Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 I have two subs and wanted to inverse one of them just for the hell of it. My motors are facing down. How do I wire the sub that is inverted up so it can be in phase with the other woofer? Can you do this with one amp?
_paralyzed_ Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 Just swap the positive and negative speaker wires to the inverted sub. That way one woofer pushes, while the other pulls. Doing this with one amp is fine. If you don't tell the amp you inverted a sub, it will never know.
