Sound deadening

The amp is dialed back a bit so I am giving them closer to 75w each instead of 125w the amp is capable of. After thinking about it for awhile If I had to describe the way it made a difference in sound I would say that now it sounds like I am listening to a good pair of floorstanding speakers in a room as opposed to some small speakers placed somewhere in a car. Everything from the level of output to the imaging is vastly improved. It is this big open soundstage with stuff coming from all over the place where before you could pretty much pinpoint that there was a speaker there, and there, and thats where most of the sound is coming from. This makes sense because it's pretty much like I turned my doors into speaker cabinets whereas before I was just mounting speakers to my door.

I think I am going to start delivering pizzas just so I can drive around and listen to this all day
