dubtuner98284 Posted April 9, 2014 Report Share Posted April 9, 2014 At least 2.5 inches is needed between the port and any obstruction is needed in your situation. Just use the suggestion that your port should be at minimum the narrowest measurement away from any obstruction. With your port being 2.5" X 12.5", you will use the 2.5" as your minimum distance from any obstruction. Any closer and it changes the velocity of the air moving through the port and risks damage to the subwoofer. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
